LHT 22.  FLOATING MARKET & ORANG UTAN

Day 01 : Banjarmasin - Arrival

Upon arrival at Banjarmasin airport, meeting service then direct transfer to check in at the hotel. In the afternoon Banjarmasin sightseeing, visiting the traditional Coconut Oil home industry, Cempaka diamond mining and Martapura traditional diamond jewelry shops, return at hotel - dinner and overnight

Day 02 : Banjarmasin - Pangkalanbun

After early breakfast depart to watch the floating houses "lanting" and the floating markets. Activities on and long the rivers are part of the daily life of the Banjarese people , Afterwards transfer to the airport to catch flight leaving for Pangkalanbun. Upon arrival at Iskandar airport of Pangkalanbun, meeting service and transfer to Kumai aboard the motorboat cruising up Sekonyer river. Along the river you can enjoy the beautiful flora and fauna, like birds, monkeys, gibbons, and other wonderful creatures of Borneo. Overnight at Rimba Lodge

Day 03 : Tanjung Harapan - Pondok Tanggui - Camp Leakey

Breakfast at Rimba Lodge, leave the lodge to visit Pondok Tanggui an Orang Utan Rehabilitation center up Sekonyer river, then proceed to Camp Leakey, research and rehabilitation center of the Orang Utan. Trekking through the tropical flora, afterwards return to Rimba Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 04 : Lodge - Camp Leakey - Kumai - Pangkalanbun

After breakfast at Rimba Lodge, visit Camp Leakey explore mankind of birds, proboscis monkey, macaque, gibbon, the afternoon cruise downstream to Kumai. Arrive in Kumai direct transfer to Pangkalanbun for check - in hotel. Meals and overnight at Thamrin Hotel or similar.

Day 05 : Pangkalanbun - Departure

After breakfast at hotel, cruising down Sekonyer river to Kumai. Arrive at Kumai direct transfer to the airport for your onward flight
